COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Sherrod Brown proudly earned the endorsement of the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters and its members,” said Sherrod Brown. “Ohio firefighters honorably serve our communities, and I’ve always fought to ensure they receive the benefits they deserve. Together, we fought for and passed the Social Security Fairness Act and protected the pensions of millions of Americans. I will continue to advocate for our first responders and work with the OAPFF as we fight against the rigged system to build a better future for working Ohioans.”
“Sherrod earned the support and endorsement of over 14,000 professional fire fighters across Ohio,” said Jon Harvey, President of the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters. “Our decision reflects Sherrod’s demonstrated leadership and alignment with our core legislative priorities, including Social Security Fairness Act, Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund reform, and the strong protection of collective bargaining rights for all of our members.”
