Jon Husted Is For Sale: Billionaires & Corporations Pour $30 Million Dollars in Senate Race to Rescue the Senator Who Works for Them

“Jon Husted’s for sale and the billionaires and corporations pouring millions into this race know it,” said Patrick Eisenhauer, Sherrod Brown campaign manager. “Husted led the charge to give FirstEnergy a massive bailout, was the face of spreading hundreds of data centers across Ohio while raising utility rates, and voted to get the wealthiest a massive tax break while working families are crushed by rising costs. Of course the special interests are panicking, they know Sherrod will fight the rigged system they’re feasting on to stand up for working Ohioans.”

• Jon Husted, “the face of data centers,” brought 226 data centers to Ohio with $2.5 billion in sweetheart tax deals and now Ohioans are footing the bill.

  • As families struggle with soaring bills, Husted blamed Ohioans for bringing data centers to Ohio.

• FirstEnergy “Golden Boy” Jon Husted was at the center of the largest bribery scandal in Ohio history, sending Ohioans’ utility rates soaring by thousands of dollars. 
• Jon Husted voted 13 times to continue the reckless war with Iran that has sent the cost of gas, groceries, diesel, and fertilizer through the roof. Yet Husted claims the war is going “much better than anyone thought it would.”
