COLUMBUS, OH – Today in Cleveland, President Barack Obama joined Sherrod Brown and Dr. Amy Acton to rally with Ohioans who are ready to elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. With 10 days until Election Day, Ohioans across the state are fired up and ready to elect a Senator who will take on the rigged system, lower costs, and stand up for working people.

“I want to thank President Obama for coming to Ohio. The President knows what I know: that Ohioans don’t have a voice in the U.S. Senate and that we deserve better than Jon Husted,” said Sherrod Brown. “Jon Husted led the charge to bring 226 data centers to our communities, and has voted to raise the cost of gas, diesel, and health care as families across Ohio are struggling to get by. Ohioans won’t stand for this rigged system any longer. Ohio is fighting back and on November 3rd we’re going to reject Jon Husted.”

“Jon Husted is a guy who voted not once, not twice – voted 14 times to support the Iran War that’s helping drive up gas prices here in Ohio. And by the way, this is the same guy who was Lieutenant Governor who pushed so hard for data centers, he’s been called a ‘data center’s best friend,’” said President Barack Obama. “So if you want lower costs, vote for change. Vote for Sherrod. If you want to end the war and get gas prices under control, vote for change and vote for Sherrod. If you want to stop corruption and grifting, vote for change.
