In Southeast Ohio, Sherrod Brown Meets With Ohioans Fed Up With Jon Husted

COLUMBUS, OH – Yesterday on the High Cost Husted tour, Sherrod Brown met with Ohioans in Chillicothe, Jackson, and Athens. They’re fed up with Jon Husted raising costs and ready to hold him accountable for putting billionaires and special interests before hardworking Ohioans.

“Ohioans across the state are seeing more money going out the door than coming in because of Jon Husted’s support for the war in Iran and the reckless tariffs,” said Sherrod Brown. “Farmers and rural Ohioans work hard every day to make ends meet, but Jon Husted thinks their ‘work ethic is broken.’ Ohioans deserve a senator who will work to make their lives better, not insult them.”

  • After the Supreme Court ruled some tariffs unconstitutional, Husted said tariff refunds should not go back to Ohioans who paid it.
