Today the Sherrod Brown campaign launched “Small Business Owners and Business Leaders for Sherrod”, a group of small business owners and business leaders in Ohio supporting U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s reelection because of his long record of fighting for small businesses and creating jobs. The group will mobilize support for Sherrod, advise the campaign on issues important to the small business community and speak to other entrepreneurs about Sherrod’s work to support Ohio’s small business owners and business leaders. Ken Kabel, owner of Oak Hill Carton Company, and Christie Bryant, owner of Records Request, Ltd. will serve as co-chairs for “Small Business Owners and Business Leaders for Sherrod.”

“There is no greater friend to Ohio’s small business owners and business leaders than Senator Sherrod Brown,” said Kabel. “He supported The Small Businesses Jobs Act and is helping Ohio small businesses export their products. Sherrod fights every single day in the Senate to expand Ohio’s middle class, and I am honored to support him and committed to ensuring his voice remains as loud as ever.”

“Senator Sherrod Brown is a champion for small businesses and Ohio’s middle class — that’s why I’m working for his reelection,” said Bryant.  “Sherrod has fought to lower taxes and expand loan opportunities for small businesses, helping them to grow and prosper.  He stands with the small business community and now we need to stand with him to send him back to the U.S. Senate.”
