Janice has been volunteering for Democrats since 1982, so we sat down with her to find out what inspires her to make calls and canvass every day.

What inspired you to volunteer for Sherrod Brown this year?

I was inspired to volunteer for Sherrod Brown because whether  he was serving as Congressman, Secretary of State, or U.S. Senator, Sherrod has always been trustworthy and honest. He fights for working families, protects a woman’s right to choose, and stands up for Ohioans.

What is the most important issue to you in this years election?

I am very concerned about the War on Women, particularly Republican efforts to de-fund Planned Parenthood. I think that we must respond to Chinese currency manipulation and make sure that Ohio’s manufacturers have a fair shot.

What’s your favorite part of volunteering? 

My favorite part of volunteering is knowing that I am making a difference. I am able to provide voters with important facts and help dispel the misinformation and lies about Sherrod and the rest of the Democratic ticket!
