Cleveland.com: Northeast Ohio begins day with bitter temperatures, lingering lake-effect snow
The lake-effect snow warning expires this morning. So at least Northeast Ohio’s got that going for it.
That won’t do anything about the cold … and it also doesn’t mean there won’t be lingering snow showers.
The brisk temperatures remain today. It was 8 degrees at 6:45 a.m. with a wind chill of minus-11, with the high expected to be 18. Snow is likely today, but the National Weather Service is predicting less than a half-inch for Cleveland. Another 2 inches of snow could fall in areas of the snowbelt, and will make roads hazardous, the Weather Service reports.
