In the 2016 elections, outside groups actually spent more than the candidates in 27 congressional races, including the Senate race right here in Ohio.
Super PACs (a product of Citizens United) spent an incredible $1.1 billion in the 2016 elections — almost double what they spent in 2012.
That is truly the kind of money that can drown out the voices of middle class families if we let it. Demand Congress take immediate and decisive action to reverse the effects of Citizens United.
