$4.5 million

Sherrod’s opponent, Congressman Jim Renacci, announced today that he raised $4.5 million in three months—the most any Republican candidate in a competitive Senate race raised in the first quarter of 2018.

It’s just the latest sign that keeping Sherrod in the Senate will depend on all of us stepping up and doing whatever we can.

Sherrod’s campaign manager Justin sent a message to supporters in response to today’s news. Read it below, and then pitch in to help make sure Sherrod has the resources he needs to win in November.

Team —

Sherrod’s opponent, Congressman Jim Renacci, just announced he raised $4.5 million in three months.

That’s the most money any Republican candidate in a competitive Senate race raised in the first quarter of 2018.

This is cause for serious concern, team: Can you pitch in $5, $10, or $26 to support Sherrod right now?

It’s now clear that Congressman Renacci will have the money and resources to compete with Sherrod. The White House already threw their support behind him and special interest groups quickly fell in line. And as the race becomes more competitive — and more expensive — over the next few months, it’s absolutely critical that Sherrod has the resources he needs to fight back.

I can’t emphasize enough how much this campaign relies on people like you, stepping up at crucial moments and pitching in whatever you can to make sure Sherrod is successful in November.

This is one of those moments.

Sherrod is counting on all of us right now. Chip in $5, $10, or match our average online contribution of $26.

Thanks,

Justin
