Last night in Cleveland with Barack, Rich, and Betty

“Give it up for your outstanding Senator, my former colleague Sherrod Brown.
Love Sherrod Brown.”

– President Barack Obama in Cleveland, last night

Last night, I took the stage in Cleveland with President Barack Obama and Ohio’s next Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Rich Cordray and Betty Sutton.

I’m thrilled to be a part of the strongest slate and deepest bench of candidates Ohio’s ever seen. With 53 days to Election Day, we have to be organized. We have to be scrappy.

That’s where you come in, team:

I’m personally asking you to chip in to help make sure our campaign has the resources we need to win up-and-down the ticket. Can you chip in $5, $10, or our average online contribution of $26 right now?

Rich, Betty, and I are in public service because we’re committed to fighting like hell for the people who make our country work. We stand up to drug companies and for-profit charter schools and the gun lobby.

And we stand with students, seniors, and workers. We’re proud to stand with you, and this year, we need you to stand with us.

With only 4 digits separating me and my opponent in the polls, we need to ramp up our grassroots efforts — and fast. Can you chip in $5, $10, or our average online contribution of $26 right now?

Thank you for your support. And thank you to President Barack Obama for joining us in the Buckeye State.

Onward,

Sherrod Brown
