Members of Congress:
It’s not even 2016 yet and already, this cycle is shaping up to be one of the most expensive our country has ever seen.
The Koch brothers have pledged to spend almost a billion dollars to buy our elections. Ted Cruz has raised $36 million from just 6 donors. And earlier this year Jeb Bush actually sent a memo to his supporters telling them to stop writing so many million dollar checks.
This is not how our democracy is supposed to work.
We need to end the corrosive influence of money on our campaign finance system and that means ending Citizens United.
