A handful of big tech and financial firms currently wield enormous power over Americans’ personal information. The American people have been directly and repeatedly harmed by these tech and financial firms, and whether that harm came through carelessness or deliberate malice, it is time for Congress to act.
We demand that Congress take immediate action to protect Americans’ data and create some commonsense rules of the road for how our personal information lives online.
