Delta Air Lines recently suggested that workers ought to take their union dues and spend it on video games instead.
They went so far as to suggest that doing so “sounds like fun.”
This is a company that sees organized labor — the force that led to an eight-hour workday, to safer workplaces, to better wages, to guaranteed health care and retirement benefits — as no more essential than a new video game.
This is a company that is openly condescending toward its own workers.
This is a company that will not stop it’s anti-worker behavior until and unless people like us demand a change.
