Addressing gun violence cannot wait. During the month of August, mass shootings took 53 lives in Ohio and Texas. There’s no reason to wait, either. The majority of Americans support stronger gun-safety laws, including gun-owning households.
Our first order of business in the Senate should be the background check measure advanced by the House.
