Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that he would rather let states go bankrupt than give them the critical aid they need to cope with the financial distress brought on by the coronavirus. Letting states go bankrupt would only make it harder on workers and further devastate our economy. It doesn’t have to be that way though.
