Congress chose to put the profits of big telecom over the privacy of Americans.

The House and Senate have voted to toss out online privacy protections. Now the protections set to take effect this year are awaiting destruction from President Trump. Internet providers will be able to profit off of tracking and selling consumers’ personal information. It’s shameful.

Consumer protection and privacy laws should not be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
