In 2008, Wall Street’s outrageous bets left taxpayers on the hook — and they nearly took the U.S. economy down with them.
Destroying financial reforms that have protected our economy for the past five years would put Wall Street right back in the driver’s seat. And we know where that road leads — right off an economic cliff.
If Wall Street Reform needs fixes, then fix it. But I will not stand by while you put the big banks back in charge.
