110 laid-off area workers get trade assistance aid
Toledo Blade – The U.S. Department of Labor has approved trade assistance benefits for 110 workers laid off at northwest Ohio businesses in Findlay, Bowling Green, and Deshler.
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown’s office said Thursday the benefits will cover 15 workers in Findlay and 20 in Bowling Green who worked for Ryder Integrated Logistics, which moved some operations to Canada and eliminated workers’ jobs transporting auto parts.
