Wapakoneta Daily News – With the decline of the stock market starting in 2008, a U.S. Congressman says Americans should be glad that Republicans failed to privatize the Social Security system during the Bush administration.

Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, also says it is time to lift the cap on contributions to the system to keep it solvent beyond the next 30 years.
