Brown pushing extension of clean energy tax credits

WTAM – (Columbus) – A tax credit passed through the Recovery Act has already provided $125 million to help Ohio manufacturing companies produce components for clean energy.

One example Brown highlighted was Cardinal Fasteners in Bedford Heights. The company, which makes large bolts for wind turbines, has increased its workforce by 20% thanks to the tax credits. Two solar panel manufacturing companies in Toledo have also increased their workforce.
