Brown, Tiberi attend Obama export meeting
The Columbus Dispatch – Sen. Sherrod Brown attended President Barack Obama's Export Council meeting at the White House last week, praising Obama's goal of doubling exports in five years even as the Ohio Democrat called for tougher enforcement of trade laws and a crackdown on China's manipulation of its currency.
Brown is one of three Senate Democrats on the White House Export Council, and he also is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee's economic policy subcommittee.
