Brown urged to help keep dairy industry profitable
The Daily Record – WOOSTER — When Sen. Sherrod Brown returns to Washington, D.C., he will bring back a message from Ohio dairy producers that there needs to be more transparency, predictability and understanding as it relates to pricing in the industry.
Brown, a Democrat from Avon, was joined Wednesday by Michael Scuse, undersecretary for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, for a roundtable with dairy farmers and others connected with the industry at the Shisler Center on the campus of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center.
