Brown wants Congress to work through holidays
Chillicothe Gazette – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown on Wednesday attacked Republicans who support what he called tax cuts for the wealthy while failing to support extended unemployment benefits for those struggling to find jobs.
During a conference call with Ohio reporters on the day the existing extended jobless benefits expired, Brown said he is determined to have Congress remain at work through the holidays if needed to get an extension passed during the legislators' lame duck session.
