Columbus Dispatch – Sen. Sherrod Brown attended President Obama's Export Council meeting at the White House today, lauding Obama's goal of doubling exports in five years even as the Ohio Democrat called for tougher enforcement of trade laws and a crackdown on Chinese currency manipulation.

Brown is one of three Senate Democrats on White House Export Council, and he also chairs Senate Banking Committee's economic policy subcommittee.
