Cincinnati Gets Nearly $7 Million For Firefighters
WLWT – CINCINNATI –Cincinnati fire department brownouts won't come to an end, despite a large federal grant.
Sen. Sherrod Brown said Tuesday that the city had received a $6,904,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security’s Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response program.
In a news release, Brown said these funds can be used for recruitment and retention of volunteer firefighters and hiring firefighters.
