Columbus Getting $23 Million To Clean Up Neighborhoods
10TV – COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio will get money to help rebuild neighborhoods hard hit by economic troubles and vacancies, 10TV News reported Thursday.
U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan, and Ohio's U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown announced that the state will receive $175 million to help rebuild neighborhoods with high amounts of foreclosures.
The program is part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, and Columbus will receive about $23 million of the money, 10TV News reported.
