East Sparta Fire Department to receive FEMA grant funds
The Press News – WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) recently announced that $1,791,400 has been awarded to fire departments in northeast Ohio by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. Of that amount, East Sparta Volunteer Fire Department will receive $15,295.
"Our first-responders put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities, our homes, and our families safe," said Brown. "These funds ensure that firefighters in northeast Ohio have the resources they need to perform their jobs safely."
