Miamisburg fire department awarded FEMA money
Dayton Daily News – MIAMISBURG — The Miamisburg Fire Department is one of four in southwest Ohio to receive money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant program, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown announced today, Thursday, March 4.
Miamisburg received $31,217 of the $397,594 awarded by FEMA.
“Our first responders put their lives on the line every day across Ohio,” Brown said. “These funds ensure that firefighters in southwest Ohio have the resources they need to perform their jobs safely.”
