Toledo Blade – A quarter-mile section of Maywood Avenue in North Toledo is a pilot project for a "green" approach to solving Toledo's flooding problems, politicians, and state, county, and city officials said Wednesday.

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) and U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo) helped inaugurate a stormwater improvement project paid for by federal stimulus funds.
