Dayton Daily News – President Barack Obama on Tuesday urged Congress to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act, which he said would help ensure that women get paid as much as men for equal work.

Nationwide, women on average make 77 cents for every dollar men earn, but in Ohio it’s less — 74 cents, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2008 American Community Survey.
