Ohio Senator Wants NFL To Lift TV ‘Blackout Policy’
WTOV – One week after the kickoff of National Football League season, an Ohio congressional leader is leaning on the NFL to help Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals fans.
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown said he's formally asked the commissioner of the NFL to lift the league's controversial blackout policy which prevents games from being televised locally if they don't sell out at the stadium.
