Ohio to get $5.9 million for clean-energy projects
Columbus Dispatch – The U.S. Department of Energy said yesterday it will spend $5.9 million for clean-energy projects in Ohio, including $401,654 going to Battelle Memorial Institute for a program aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of air conditioning.
Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, announced the state's new money in a conference call with reporters.
