Reaction postive to hospital electronic system
Norwalk Reflector – Three months after Fisher-Titus Medical Center converted to all electronic health records, patients’ reaction has been “very positive,” said Michele Skinn, director of the Fisher-Titus Foundation.
Skinn, hospital officials and doctors met Monday with Sen. Sherrod Brown to answer his questions about the new system. Through it, Fisher-Titus along with Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton have become the first two all-digital, “smart” hospitals in the U.S.
Brown said he liked what he saw.
“It’s great progress,” he said.
