WHIO – SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Earlier this week, Congressman Mike Turner (R-Centerville) wrote to federal government officials, urging them to keep the former GM assembly plant in Moraine intact. Turner's aim was to stress the importance of redeveloping the site and spurring job creation in the Dayton area.

And yesterday, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown made a similar move in an attempt to keep jobs in the Miami Valley.
