Senator Brown holds roundtable
Toledo on the Move – TOLEDO, OH — As the new year begins and the economic crisis continues many are thinking about the future of Toledo.
This afternoon U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) invited local leaders and the public to talk about efforts to help small businesses and bring clean energy jobs to Northwest Ohio.
He says he is working on legislation that will help businesses meet supply needs.
"If you can make gears for cars, you can make gear boxes for wind turbines and we want to through a revolving loan fund help companies transition into alternative energy and Toledo can help lead the state and the nation as it has," said Brown.
