Senator: We Want a Middle Class Tax Cut
33 WYTV – Despite warnings from President Barack Obama and his advisers, an Ohio senator said the plan to extend tax cuts needs a serious overhaul.
Sen. Sherrod Brown is one of a number of Democrats opposed to the President's suggestion that tax breaks for all people should be extended another two years in exchange for additional unemployment benefits. He said Thursday's rejection of that plan by his party's members in the House of Representatives is an important step.
