Senators push plan to bring jobs back to U.S.
Springfield News-Sun – A coalition of senators including Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown is proposing legislation to end tax credits to companies that send jobs off shore and give tax credits to those that return jobs to the United States.
A group of senators, all Democrats, including Dick Durbin of Illinois, Chuck Schumer of New York, and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania held a news conference Friday on the “Creating American Jobs and Ending Off shoring Act,” which could be voted on in the Senate as early as next week.
