Sherrod Brown first out of the box with Votto congrats
Cincinnati Enquirer – Ohio’s soon-to-be senior senator, Democrat Sherrod Brown, was the first Ohio politician to offer congratulations to the Cincinnati Reds’ Joey Votto for winning the National League Most Valuable Player award.
Not surprising, in that Brown is a huge baseball fan, someone who really loves the game. He’s a Cleveland Indians fan, which didn’t give him a lot to cheer about this past season, but he knows a great ballplayer when he sees one.
