SMART Papers makes pricing case in D.C.
Hamilton Journal News – HAMILTON — For five years, Asia’s largest paper producers have been importing raw materials and selling paper in the U.S. at prices local companies can’t compete with, said Tim Needham, chairman of SMART Papers in Hamilton.
Ohio-based paper producers and elected officials spent Thursday in Washington, D.C., testifying before the International Trade Commission against these pricing practices that aren’t profitable but boost the continent’s work force.
