Tax-relief measures
Youngstown Vindicator – Members of the Ohio Democratic congressional delegation outlined how recent tax-relief measures have helped Ohio families at a joint press conference Thursday.
According to members of the delegation, Ohio taxpayers saved an average of $1,046 on their tax returns as a result of tax cuts included in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act.
The press conference focused on the benefits of the refundable homebuyer credit, home energy-efficiency incentives, deductions from new-vehicle purchases and the temporary suspension of taxes on unemployment benefits.
