USDA awards loan for Pomeroy health center
Pomeroy Daily Sentinel – POMEROY — The U.S. Department of Agriculture has released a $1,323,000 loan to Family Healthcare, Inc. for the construction of a new healthcare center to be built outside Pomeroy. The funds represent another share of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act allocation to come into Meigs County for new infrastructure.
The new 10,500 square-foot facility will serve the general public on a sliding scale fee. The loan was approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Community Facilities program, according to U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, who serves on the Senate Agriculture Committee.
