WKBN – An Ohio senator announced grant funding for six fire departments, and Youngstown is one of them.

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown announced Monday that $1,377,101 has been awarded to six Ohio fire departments by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. The fire departments are located in Washington Township and Montgomery, Tuscarawas, Geauga, Cuyahoga and Mahoning counties.
