Bill to improve bus safety makes its way through U-S Senate committee
WFIN – Legislation that would toughen safety regulations and devices on busses has made it through a Senate Committee.
Sponsored by Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas, the bill was inspired by the 2007 crash of a bus carrying Bluffton University baseball players to a tournament in Florida.
