Brown Calls Health Repeal Vote ‘Distraction’

Business Journal Daily — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a champion of health care reform, made an early campaign stop at the Austintown Senior Center Tuesday afternoon. There the senior senator from Ohio, up for re-election in 2012, reminded some 50 older Ohioans of the new Medicare benefits available to them since New Year's Day.

He called the Republican effort to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act — better known as health care reform or Obamacare — depending on which political party is speaking "a distraction."
