Chamber shouldn’t attack the left

Toledo Blade – Today, as we mark the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, I thank all the survivors and offer my condolences for the losses they endured (“‘Date of infamy’ vivid for those at Pearl Harbor,” Dec. 4).

I hope all will take a moment to reflect on what our lives are like thanks to those who defended our country after that attack, which drove our nation into World War II. Their collective efforts were victorious. Their sacrifices will be remembered throughout history. They are my heroes.

Every day should be a day of reflection on a life that our Greatest Generation solidified for each of us. Let’s all remember not only those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor, but all those who made the ultimate sacrifice and the families who found it necessary to move forward without their loved ones beside them.
