College tuition tax credits going unused
WTAM – (Parma) – Today is College Goal Sunday, with educators around the nation informing prospective college students about college affordability options.
At Tri-C West, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio announced a campaign urging eligible families utilize a $2,500 college tuition tax credit. He called on Ohio college and university presidents to help inform the families of students enrolled in Ohio colleges of the American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC).
