CSX plans $59 million Ohio expansion
Dayton Business Journal – CSX Corp. is expanding its Ohio operations, spending $59 million to grow its operations in the Columbus area. This comes after the company also bought 47 acres next to the new SunCoke Energy Inc. facility in Middletown earlier this year.
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, beat the company to the punch Monday by applauding the railroad’s decision to expand its container transfer facility in Columbus, noting the project is creating about 400 construction jobs.
