News Leader – A recent News Leader column highlights new statewide efforts to connect Ohio’s military veterans with the benefits they have earned (April 20, “State Veterans Services department launches online outreach campaign”).

In addition to state level assistance, the federal government can provide health and wellness support, housing help, and workforce development resources for Ohio veterans.

Ohio veterans have earned and deserve our support. That’s why my work as a member of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs is so fulfilling — I have the honor of advocating on behalf of Ohio servicemembers who continue to make monumental sacrifices for our country.
