Ohio State also might need to win Sunday to avoid having to settle for the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten tournament next week. Second-place Purdue, which is a game behind the Buckeyes and finishes its regular season at Iowa on Saturday, would win a tiebreaker for the top seed by virtue of its 1-1 record against third-place Wisconsin during the season. A loss to the Badgers on Sunday would leave Ohio State 0-2 against them.
