Ohio Sens, Reps sit together for Obama SOTU as Speaker Boehner looks on

Examiner – COLUMBUS, Ohio (CGE) – While Ohio's congressional delegation didn't all sit together Tuesday evening to listen to President Barack Obama's second State of the Union address, even of them did to show they took the call for bipartisanship seriously.

But one of Ohio's long-serving elected officials was seated totally separate from Reps. Steve LaTourette, Marcy Kaptur, Dennis Kucinich, senior Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman, Ohio's newly elected junior.

For the first time in his 18-year career representing Ohio's 8th Congressional District, John Boehner, from West Chester in southwestern Ohio, was seated behind the President, and next to Vice President Biden, in the chair reserved for the Speaker of the U.S House of Representatives.
